It's been a crazy month for us but we are able to squeeze in a couple fun treats for the kids.
Unfortunately I don't think we'll have time to go to the pumpkin patch this year but we'll be sure to pick up some at a local farm/store so we can do some pumpkin carving next week!
Two Saturdays ago we stopped in at Lowes and attended their Build and Grow workshop. We made a Spooky Stacker. It's a fun and interactive family activity. H&N built a cute monster candy stacking game. Speaking of monsters... don't forget to check out our BOJ's Monsters too!
This weekend we'll be heading to a nearby mall where they have their annual Malloween. There will be some activities and a mall wide trick or treating for kids. Hopefully this year it won't be as crazy as last year because of a Hurricane Sandy. (That was not a treat for sure!)
What fun activities did you do this month?
Did you pick your pumpkins yet?

I never knew Lowes had workshops for kids! We haven't even picked our pumpkins yet.. we're so behind. Hopefully we can get some this weekend!

Yes I didn't realize it until I saw a sign up when we went there to pick up a few things. Have fun picking pumpkins this weekend :) and next year you'll have your own lil pumpkin in tow!
DeleteCute craft! We should look into those classes at Home Depot near our house :). Can't wait to see your pumpkins! I try to avoid Halloween at the mall. It's to craaaazy crowded for our liking.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! Home Depot has them too? You should definitely check it out with J :)
DeleteI'll be posting our pumpkins sometime next week so stay tuned ; )
Love it! That must have been fun for your kids. We picked our pumpkin and hope to carve it this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Mandi! H&N love the workshops and asked when the next one is? hehe
DeleteHave fun pumpkin carving and a great weekend too!
Can you believe I've never gone pumpkin picking before? Looks like a treat! Thanks for sharing this!
