In a previous post Zi shared
her kid's favorite Christmas song so I thought I'd share H&N's favorite. They love listening to
Christmas Eve/Sarejevo 12/24 by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I must say I love this song myself. It's so cute since they have a choreograph performance for this a.k.a "The show". I have the CD so they play it often and tell me they have to practice for the show. It's very entertaining to watch and there's lots of giggles, smiles and great dance moves involved.
Next year I want to take them to see The Nutcracker or maybe a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert.
Do your kids have "shows" or maybe you created some of your own as a child?
Do you like to attend holiday shows or concerts? Any favorites or recommendations?

I've seen the Rockette in NYC and attended an Amy Grant holiday concert here in DC. I thought both were just okay. Once the kids are older, I would love to take them to some shows. Maybe not holiday specific, but definitely a circus and Disney On Ice.
ReplyDeleteOh they will LOVE Disney on Ice! We went last year and it was awesome. Will definitely go see another show. Fun for all ages :)
DeleteI confess that I'm not a fan of holiday shows/concerts or even holiday music. I don't know since I love Christmas! I'm sure once the baby is here, I might change my tune! :)

Hehe you just might ; ) especially when she she sings songs she learns from school hehe!
DeleteHow cute they have a choreographed performance to this song! I like Transyberian Orchestra too though not sure if it's appropriate for young kids since it's quite loud. Rock n roll, ya know. I went to one of their concerts back in Philly. I guess I saw kids around me but since I didn't have any kids at the time, I can't say for sure. Anyways, I love when J dances to music, whether it's coming from the TV, mp3 player, or me, hehe. Nothing choreographed. He improvises ;).
ReplyDeleteYes true it could be loud :P my kids love the arts so we shall see when next year rolls around. Improvisations are great.... next time I see J I want to see if he will dance for me haha. ; )
DeleteThat sounds so sweet. We have not seen a show in a long time.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Baby C likes to perform for you too. :) It's hard to be able to see a show with young kids in tow. We've only watched shows for kids or family oriented.
