Favorite things #12

In the past year or so the girls have really gotten into dressing up as princesses and fairies. So for their birthdays they got to pick out 1 costume that they wanted from the Disney store. E2 picked a Rapunzel dress and E3 picked a Minnie Mouse dress.

Seeing how much they liked those 2 dresses, I also picked up some other dress up clothes for them at some consignment sales.

My girls are not really into Barbies or baby dolls but they definitely love to dress up!

Do you have a little girl that loves to dress up? What is her favorite character to dress up as?

  1. That minnie dress is adorable. My niece (who is 2) loves minnie mouse. I bet in a couple years she'll love dressing up.

    1. She just might! It is hard to avoid the whole princess culture for little girls:)

  3. Baby C really isn't into Barbie Dolls or babies either. I wonder why some girls are and some aren't. I used to love both of those when I was little. But like yours, Baby C loves to dress up. She likes to dress up in anything, princess, astronaut, you name it. :)

  4. Anna actually isn't too interested in princess stuff. Prior to our vacation to Disney, we showed her a bunch of Disney movies so she can know some of the princesses (Belle, Ariel, Cinderalla), but she just doesn't seem interested. Maybe later? She will be 4 in March.

    1. Maybe! My girls started to be more interested at age 4 but E2 is more into it than E3 is. I guess when they get older they start to become more aware of what they consider pretty and want to emulate it.
