Now personally I have a love/hate relationship with this next item on the list, BUT my kids absolutely LOVE it--Play Doh.

My kids have pretty good fine motor skills and really enjoying making Play Doh pieces that are as small as possible! You can imagine how fun clean up can be sometimes. That being said, they really enjoying making all sorts of fun things with it and can spend up to 1 hour just creating and playing.
So despite the cleaning aspect, it is one of our favorites in the E household!
Do your kids like Play Doh? Do you buy or make your own?

I am with you on this one - love/hate relationship. I haven't tried making my own although I see people do it all the time. I will have to get it a try soon.
ReplyDeleteI tried making it once but wasn't too successful.
DeleteI know what you mean. Play-doh is so fun, but I hate cleaning it up. That's great that they have good fine-motor skills. I bet they have nice handwriting too. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all still working on their writing. I hope they will have food handwriting when they are better at it :)
DeleteIck. Do they still have that strange smell? That's what I remembered most about it!

Yes that smell is still there!
DeleteI'll agree with you on the mess :). J likes play dough sometimes (we were gifted a lot for his birthday) but he REALLY loves the kinetic sand!
ReplyDeleteI really got to check this kinetic sand thing out!
