Back to school shopping list

We got our list and it's an easy one to tackle. School bag, markers, glue sticks, headphones and a box of tissues... done!

Here are some of my favorite finds!
Cute sushi napkins, would pair up nicely with our lunch buddies line: Double Trouble

School gear:
Hello Kitty backpack (H's pick)
Target.com

Cool crayons
Maybe it's the artist in me but I got so excited when I saw these at Target. I love me some crayons! Fun shades for each specific theme. So many to choose from, I wanted to buy all of them haha!
Target.com

Fun notebooks
Remember those black and white composition books? They now have the coolest colors and designs on them! Kids are so lucky these days haha. (You know how we love Hello Kitty!)

Where do you go for your back to school items?
What kind of shopper are you, do you shop at one place? Or go go to several places and get the best deals?

Happy shopping! Our next stop... clothes.

  1. Pre-kids...I shopped at several places to get the best deals. I was coupon savvy.

Now I shop base on convenience. I still won't pay full price for anything, but gone are the days that I get stuff for fraction of the cost.

I know H is going to Kindy, but what about N? Is he going to preschool?

    1. I hear ya, it's harder to shop around when you have young kids in tow. We will keep N another year at home with me since technically he should be 4 for Pre-K. This gives me more one on one time with him and save us some tuition $$$. Tho he keeps asking about going to school, I think he will be more than ready when the time comes hehe :)

  2. Crayola is such an innovative company. Whenever I see a new product, I'm like "genius"! Cute themed picks! And yea, kids have it so nice these days with the myriad of colors and patterns in notebooks to pencils!! I loooooved back to school shopping as a kid. My favorite was new office supplies at Staples. I haven't had to buy school supplies yet but I could imagine that I'd only visit 2 stores, Target and Staples, when the kids are young. Maybe when they are older and start to care about labels, we'll need to visit the mall too. Or... Maybe just some online shopping :)

    1. I'm a huge fan of Crayola products! Target and Staples are THE places to go in my book. H loved getting all her school supplies. Luckily H is not into "labels" yet. But she is forming her tastes in clothes, shoes, accessories... my fashionista :D

  3. I haven't had to do school shopping yet, but I'm the sort of person who shops all at one place. Love the napkins!

  4. The napkins are so cute! I used to love back to school shopping. I haven't had to do any for awhile, but I still like to see what the stores have out! Target is definitely my favorite.

  5. I can't wait to go back to school shopping with Grace someday! (It'll still be a few years though), I remember how fun it use to be to get new school supplies. Although, for some reason my parents never bought me crayons! I think my dad thought they were carcinogenic (Such weird asian parents). I love those cute sushi napkins!!
