We will still have other posts mixed in throughout the month but hope our readers will enjoy some "behind the scene" looks into Bumble of Joy.
Also don't forget we would love to share some of our reader's labor stories, so send them on over to bumbleofjoy@gmail.com.
So here we go with the first "Did You Know?" post:
Did you know that one of the first Bumble of Joy hair clips were made by Eva as birthday gifts for E2 and E3? The "original" designs were the strawberry and apple hair clips which became Sassy Strawberry and A+ Apple.
With those designs as starting off points, we have come up with more designs for our hair clips and with more to come! If you haven't checked out our "honeycomb" store in a while, I suggest going for a visit again today!
Let us know if there are any things you would like to know more about Bumble of Joy and we will try to answer them in the coming posts!

What a way to kick off the partnership! Did Eva know at that time that you two were going to make a business form the clips? Or the clips were just a thoughtful present? Interesting start! Here's a question, since you are both WAHMs, how do you find time to sew and blog?
ReplyDeleteGreat question Lisa! We will address it in a coming post. We knew we were going to start a business together at that point but I'm (Zi) not sure if Eva knew it would be the start off point. I'll let her address that. The clips were definitely a thoughtful present!
DeleteHi Lisa, no I (Eva) did not know that it would become our start off point. Funny how things have a way of working themselves out :)
DeleteI just can't get over how creative you two are. I wish I had an ounce of your creativeness. Once Baby C's hair get's longer, we'll purchase more of the clips. Grow hair grow! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteAww...thanks Mandi, you are so sweet! God gives everyone different gifts, ours just happen to be a little bit of creativity. Can't wait for Baby C to get longer hair so we can see some more cute BOJ clips on her =)
