Gobble, gobble, gobble

Ready for turkey day? Are those elastic pants cleaned & ironed? (Like the ones Joey wore on the Friends Thanksgiving episode) Ever since I got married we started a tradition of having Thanksgiving every year at our place. This gives my Dad and Mom a well deserve break from the many years of cooking us Thanksgiving dinner.

I really love this holiday since it's a day with my family and close friends, enjoying a good meal and reflecting on God's blessings in my life. There's less of a rush compared to Christmas, with the exception of Black Friday (but that's another post). It marks the beginning of the holiday season!

Here's a little turkey craft I did with H for Thanksgiving. We made turkey beaks and Thanksgiving cards.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Markers, paint or crayons
  • Scissors
  • Long wooden stick and/or straw
  • Card stock paper
  • Glitter (optional)

  • Click HERE for free turkey art.

Will you be cooking the turkey Thursday?
Hope your kids have fun making theirs!
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. I love the craft! We won't be cooking this year. Our family and friends are all in Florida and we are in CO. We will be going out to dinner for Thanksgiving. I hope you have a wonderful day!

    2. Love the one with glitter, held up to her nose. Very cute! You are right, we should give our parents a break from cooking huh? Luckily, we are this year...but others have generously offered to do the cooking, which *I'm* thankful for. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
